Macklin Lab
Dr. Macklin has studied mechanisms of myelination and glial biology for over 30 years, pioneering work on the myelin protein PLP. She has built her lab around understanding processes of developmental myelination and remyelination after injury, studying numerous transgenic and mutant mouse lines. The lab currently focuses on rodent studies of myelination processes in the CNS during development, MS-like demyelination, and stroke.Â
